Dark Garden Ritual

I decided that today was the perfect day to tidy up the garden and to move my plants out, since most has outgrown their pots.
To finish the day off, I went ahead and planned a ritual, dedicated to the dark mother, Hecate, hoping that she would bless my baneful garden, making my plants grow strong, beautiful and potent!

My altar, with daffodil roots, cloth and string, incence + burner and an offering bowl with mead and  bits of gems.

I tied two daffodil roots together with the cloth and string, to imbue the earth with fertility. I anointed them and myself with flying salve, made from plants dearest to Hecate.
I buried the root-lovers in a corner of my garden, poured the offering mead and spoke my will to the dark mother.
At last burned an incense made of sweet myrrh, henbane-, belladonna- and datura seeds, mint, bay leaf, tobacco and snake shed.

Edit:
It turns out that the ointment is a very powerful aphrodisiac!
I'm taking this as a sign that the ritual worked out as planned ;)

Shadow Walking Diary Entry

I went ahead and applied a small amount of both my belladonna- and henbane oil on my wrists and antecubital fossa.

I had no noticeable physical effects, and only a placebo-like change of perception of light and shade.

But I decided to meditate / travel during the test. So I grabbed my selenite and quartz in each hand and placed my prized star ruby on my chest, laid down and closed my eyes.

As always, I start my travel, standing upon a cliff, overlooking a beach with obsidian-black sand being caressed by eager, foaming waves of ghost-white, while they roar with passion and excitement.
Meanwhile I am wearing my hamr, of black-feathered wings.

I see my Vördr, standing to my right. A huge raven, with ruby eyes. It's about 2/3rds of my own height.
He shows me that he wants to teach and he shows me how to better navigate this world and we fly together, playfully and seriously. I land nearby a mound of dry sheep-bones. The spirit has left, so it's no use trying to  communicate with them. I caw and he crunks back. I offer him the bones and he accepts.

I lift off and soar above the ocean and plunge downward. Here my ham changes into something more humanoid. A sea-hag perhaps. My skin is opaque and I pick up some luminescence. My hair is a tangle of kelps and seaweed and I have grown heavy fins on my thighs.
I crawl ashore and travel onward, zooming across the land in a wind-like form.
The atmosphere changes from foggy and monochrome to green and sunny.

I find myself in a small forest grove with an elevated patch resting upon a rooty, mulchy, dirt out-crop. From there a big, beautiful Belladonna is growing. She bears both blooms and berries and her roots are visible in the mound crop, sucking whatever nourishment might be left from a small pile of bones.
I leave her an "offering" in form of a talisman (which I now know I will have to create).
I lean forward and kiss one of her blossoms. I am met by the feeling of a set of hungry lips resting against mine.

I never really see her, but I kiss her neck and breasts quietly and gently. I feel her claws gripping my back. I give her a few last, calm kisses before I kneel before her, thank her for her presence and I tell her it wont be long until we meet again.

I get sucked back to this world and smile to myself.

Banecrafting

Last Thursday was just wonderful!
Us witches in the area hold monthly gatherings, and this time we decided to have it at an herb garden, which is modelled after
It was full of beautiful herbs, making my green fingers itch with excitement!
There were the classic medicinal herbs; Hypericum, wormwood, mugwort, many different strains of mint,
And of course my adored banes; Mandragora, Henbane, Datura and Belladonna!
Especially the Belladonna caught my eye. It was much bigger than I expected and already blooming. Its leaves and the modestly purple flowers calling me towards her. It was resinous, almost sticky to the touch and I thought comically to myself: "She wants me all for herself."
With that thought I pluck 12 of her leaves and 3 blooms and bring them home.

So, after an eventful day at the garden, things get even more interesting when I'm back home.
I rip up the fresh Belladonna, mix it with rose petals, poppy seeds and a pinch of lavender and a stick of cinnamon. I let the herbs steep it in olive oil in sun- and moonlight for 3 days.
The result is an unbelievably seducing, poisonous oil. You just wont believe the scent it has <3
I also did something similar in the brown bottle, just with henbane seeds.

I've already done tiny patch-test of the herbs and oils. No signs of allergic reactions of any kind, so I will soon be ready to proceed.
